Daliform Group: EPD Certification

Daliform Group: EPD Certification for IGLU’®, U-BOOT®, ATLANTIS and U-BHAN®

Daliform Group takes another step towards more sustainable construction: the IGLU’®, U-BOOT®, ATLANTIS and U-BHAN® product ranges have obtained Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification, confirming the company’s commitment to environmental transparency and responsible innovation.

EPD: Transparency and Sustainability

An EPD, or Environmental Product Declaration, is a tool that transparently communicates a product’s environmental impacts throughout its life cycle, based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and in accordance with standardised rules.

This declaration provides added value for architects, engineers, designers and construction companies, giving them access to verified environmental information to guide their choices and integrate sustainability criteria into their projects.

A Shared Commitment to Sustainable Construction

The IGLU’®, U-BOOT®, ATLANTIS and U-BHAN® systems address a variety of construction needs, from ventilated crawl spaces and voids beneath floors to lightweight floor slabs and elevated concrete structures.

Obtaining EPDs for these four product ranges makes documented environmental information available alongside their technical performance, providing professionals with an additional tool for assessing construction solutions.

Environmental Product Declarations can also contribute to the documentation required by sustainable building assessment schemes, such as LEED, depending on the applicable requirements.

A Step Forward Towards the Future

For Daliform Group, obtaining EPD certification for IGLU’®, U-BOOT®, ATLANTIS and U-BHAN® reinforces its commitment to promoting a design approach based on transparency, innovation and environmental responsibility.

Because building responsibly also means understanding and assessing the environmental impact of our choices.
